cord progression

I used the piano roll an awful lot in this project. I got a sound i wanted and then i moved it up one cord higher. But the second cord didn't sound right. I did this about 7 or 8 times and then i finally found this sound. I took the piano sound put a bass in the background and then i put a drum loop on that. I used layers to really get the effect I wanted. Enjoy!

sytrus

First i started this project by using the sytrus function. I then went and used the default saw wave sound. After fiddling around with the functions and knobs in the sytrus function i found the sound i liked. I then went and made another saw wave and put them together. I added a beat (drum loop) in the backround. And then i had the piece i liked most. enjoy :)

chopppp

So here's my third project! My mission: create a chop pattern. I started off using the FPC function.I made a simple drump loop, then i used the synth tool to help chop up my lead guitar pattern and my drum loop.

So here's my second project! It's a bass loop. I used the boo bass in all parts of the loop. I enjoy the mellow sound of the boo bass. The loop consists of three patterns, in the first pattern i used the FPC to sort of help me establish the exact sound i was looking for. I used the boo bass in the first and 3 notes. In my second pattern i used I used the FPC #3 and used the boo bass a bit more in the second pattern, i used the boo bass in notes one three and five and then later in notes eleven thirteen and fifteen. for my third and final pattern i used the FPC #2 and only used the boo bass once in the first note. Mix all my patterns together and you have my bass loop :)

This is my first project! It is a simple drum loop. I was inspired to make this by hearing the rhythms of the artist Jap in her song "you". I have recently discovered this artist from Japan who speaks Japanese in her music. Anyhow, I used four patterns in the first pattern I went with something somewhat simple, I used only the kick and clap sounds. I used the kick sound in notes six through fifteen, and I used the clap sound in notes two through five and then in notes eight and nine. In the second pattern I used the kick sound in the second though the sixth notes. I used the clap the first and second notes and then the fifth through the seventh notes. I used the high hat the third through the sixth notes. In the third pattern i added a tom to the pattern and also added a ride. I only had the ride clap and tom in this pattern. In the fourth pattern I decided to add another tom and put the kick back in. I worked very hard, and hope you enjoy listening to my first project!
